Severodonetsk Azot triples production output

In January-June this year, Severodonetsk Azot (part of Group DF) increased the production of nitrogen fertilizers by more than 3 times to 330.78 thousand tons.

The production of ammonium nitrate increased by 91.1% of the nitrogen fertilizer total volume production and amounted to 192.07 thousand tons. The production of the carbamide-ammonium mixture increased by more than 4 times to 12.83 thousand tons. And the production of carbamide reached 122.58 thousand tons (in the first half of 2019 it’s production wasn’t launched yet).

“The growth in fertilizer output in the first half of the year is the result of the restoration of the full production cycle at the enterprise. In March, we launched the ammonia production workshop A-1, which allowed us to gradually increase the production of ammonium nitrate and start production of carbamide. Nevertheless, the enterprise is currently loaded by only 30%. However, we cannot expect the same production dynamics in the future, as the state decided not to impose restrictions on the import of nitrogen fertilizers to Ukraine,” said Leonid Bugaev, Chairman of the Board of Severodonetsk Azot.
