Uralchem will increase yields in the Perm region

Uralchem trading house, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Perm region and the Agro-Industrial Union of the Perm region signed a cooperation agreement. The parties discussed the provision of the region with mineral fertilizers during the spring season amid the predicted high demand and effective use of the Uralchem innovative mineral fertilizers, which showed good results in similar climatic conditions in other regions of the country.

“The strategic goal of Uralchem is to increase the volume of supplies to the domestic market. The provision of farmers of the Perm region with mineral fertilizers is the priority task for the Uralchem trading house. The company has two large nitrogen fertilizer production facilities in the Perm region. Previously, we were forced to export almost all volumes of our products to the regions of main consumption. The current and forecasted growth in the use of mineral fertilizers in the region is good news for the producer and allows saving on logistics costs. The region plans to continue supporting farmers and develop new forms of agriculture. Uralchem, in turn, offers agricultural consulting services and innovative fertilizers, the application of which will help farmers to increase their yields,” said General Director of Uralchem trading house Yury Voronin.

A working group, which will plan and set specific tasks, will be created soon. First of all, they will develop a roadmap for fruitful cooperation. The group will include specialists from the Uralchem trading house, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Perm region, local farmers and agronomists.
