Tambov region faces a rise agrochemical prices

To prevent an unjustified increase in prices for mineral fertilizers, the department of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) in the Tambov region held a meeting with the suppliers of mineral fertilizers.

The meeting was initiated because in January-February 2021, FAS recorded a significant increase in prices for mineral fertilizers.

During the meeting, suppliers of mineral fertilizers explained the reasons for such a rise in prices and also listed factors affecting the pricing of mineral fertilizers.

However, the issue hasn’t been resolved. The suppliers were asked to provide all necessary documents for a detailed check for violations of antimonopoly legislation.

“Suppliers of mineral fertilizers are obliged to provide full and detailed information on the reasons for the increase in prices for mineral fertilizers to conduct an analysis,” stated the department of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in the Tambov region.
