Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the workforce of PhosAgro on the company’s 20th anniversary.

“Over the past years, your company has been demonstrating steady growth, consistently increasing production, making a significant contribution to ensuring the country’s food security.

I am convinced that such impressive achievements are the result of well-coordinated, highly professional work of the thousands of employees of the holding’s enterprises, and competent management decisions.

And, of course, I would like to emphasize the creation of modern jobs, the introduction of innovative and environmentally friendly technologies, the implementation of socially significant initiatives in the field of health care, sports, youth policy, and large-scale charitable projects.

I wish you new achievements and all the best,” said the telegram of congratulations sent by President Vladimir Putin.

PhosAgro CEO Andrey Guryev thanked Mr. Putin for such a high assessment of the company’s long-term activities.

“With the efficient work of a team of like-minded people, the entire many thousands workforce of PhosAgro, we have managed to triple the volume of our products. Last year, for the first time in history, it exceeded 10 million tons.

Over the past two decades, we have increased the supply of our most eco-efficient fertilizers to Russian farmers fivefold. From just a fertilizer manufacturer, we have become a provider of turnkey solutions for guaranteed high yields, which is feeding systems that are best suited to specific types of soil and plants.

The result of large-scale investments was a radical modernization and construction of new modern production facilities, built using the best available technologies.

All PhosAgro’s activities are based on responsibility towards our employees and society and commitment to sustainable development. The company’s social and charitable projects, for which we annually allocate over 4 billion rubles (approximately $55.7 million), have repeatedly been recognized as the best in the country. They are aimed at motivating employees, ensuring safe working conditions and creating a comfortable urban environment in the regions of our presence, supporting medicine, children’s and professional sports.

We confidently look to the future, continuing to invest in high-tech and environmentally friendly production, social facilities and programs, strengthening the position of a reliable partner of the Russian agro-industrial complex and the largest supplier of fertilizers to domestic farmers,” said Andrey Guryev.

Fertilizer Daily joins PhosAgro congratulations and wishes all its employees every success!

Europe is falling behind in this field. The concerns 30 years ago was reasonable. Now not so much. We need crops that can survive in a more extreme future climate. Handle droughts and hot weather better. Crops that are less tasty to pests like hogs and deere.
