KuibyshevAzot will create new nitric acid and ammonium nitrate production

The KuibyshevAzot plant (the city of Togliatti, Samara region) plans to implement a project to create a complex for the production of nitric acid and ammonium nitrate with a capacity of 1.575 and 2 thousand tons per day, respectively. Investments in its construction will amount to 18.3 billion rubles (approximately $245.5 million).
The project will be implemented by KuibyshevAzot’s subsidiary Nitrokom. 49% of its authorized capital will be acquired by the Vnesheconombank (VEB), which, together with Gazprombank, provided a syndicated loan of 15.2 billion rubles (approximately $203.7 million).
