Nutrien’s CEO resigned
The Canadian fertilizer producer Nutrien announced that its President and CEO Mayo Schmidt left his post. He also resigned from the Nutrien Board of Directors.
Ken Seitz, Vice President of Nutrien, will act as CEO. He has extensive management experience in the mining and agricultural business.
“Nutrien has achieved exceptional results in 2021 and may continue this dynamic in 2022. The company has a talented and professional management team, and we’re confident that Ken Seitz will set new records in financial and operational performance,” said Russ Girling, Chairman of Nutrien.
According to his statement, the Board of Directors will now be looking for a new leader for Nutrien to take the company to greater achievements.
