Russia is not planning to introduce mineral fertilizers export duties yet

The possibility of imposing customs duties on the export of mineral fertilizers from Russia was discussed, but so far no decision has been made on their establishment, Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov said.
“No decisions have been made yet. Indeed, there were discussions but no final decisions were made,” commented Denis Manturov.
Earlier, the government of Russia has introduced quotas for the export of mineral fertilizers. For nitrogen fertilizers, the quota is over 8.3 million tons and for complex fertilizers – over 5.9 million tons. Their action should end on December 31 of the current year but if necessary, they will be extended.
