In 2022, Acron Group allocated 539 million rubles (over $5.6 million) to social and economic development projects and support for charitable programs in the regions of the company’s presence.

318 million rubles (approximately $3.325 million) were allocated for the development of local infrastructure, projects in the field of healthcare, education, culture, art and sports. Acron Group also implemented several social and charitable programs aimed at supporting public organizations, social institutions and communities in general. 221 million rubles (over $2.3 million) were allocated for charitable projects.

In 2022, as part of a strategic partnership with the Novgorod Chemical Industrial College, Acron opened computerized training workshops. Seven classrooms of the technical school were repaired and the necessary special equipment was purchased. In the Smolensk region, at the expense of Dorogobuzh (part of Acron Group), premises were renovated in five schools in the city of Dorogobuzh and three rural schools, and the Dorogobuzh House of Children’s Art. More than 16 million rubles (over $167 thousand) were allocated for these purposes.

Acron’s partnership with Novgorod State University became a new format of interaction in the reporting year, under which the company became an industrial partner of the Advanced Engineering School, transferring 100 million rubles (approximately $1 million) for its development. Thanks to this cooperation, Novgorod State University students in the learning process will be able to undergo practical training and internships in real industries, including in the format of working with mentors. In addition, being one of the main partners of the Creative Economy Development Fund of the Novgorod region, Acron supported the business projects of local entrepreneurs by allocating 10 million rubles (almost $105 thousand) for this.

In 2022, Acron Group launched the DobroAcron corporate volunteer movement, within which volunteer employees, for example, helped animal shelters and organized cultural events at geriatric centers. Acron traditionally supported the Christmas Gift charity marathon dedicated to helping families with children in difficult life situations by donating more than 2 million rubles (approximately $21 thousand) to its fund. Also in Veliky Novgorod, a volunteer project to search for the remains of fallen and unburied soldiers of the Great Patriotic War continued its work, in which employees and veterans of Acron have been participating for many years.
