Bangladesh plans to import 40,000 metric tonnes of phosphoric acid
Bangladesh government plans to import 40,000 metric tonnes of phosphoric acid through two tenders in four shipments to meet the country’s requirement in late December or early January next year. The state-owned organization will arrange the import under the Ministry of Industries — Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) through two international tenders.
The first tender is to import 10,000 metric tonnes of phosphoric acid in bulk in a tanker on CFR for delivery at TSP Complex Jetty, Chattogram Port, under Cash Foreign Exchange. Bids for a single lot are to be opened on November 13, 2023.
The second tender for supplying 30,000 metric tonnes of phosphoric acid in bulk in a tanker on CFR for delivery at TSP Complex Jetty, Chattogram Port, under Cash Foreign Exchange. Bids to be opened on November 08, 2023. The winner of this tender will have to supply cargo in three shipments, each of 10,000 metric tonnes, subject to the opening of the Letter of Credit within the time frame of bidding documents.
