Fertilizer production in Russia gains pace

The Federal State Statistics Service reports that the output of mineral fertilizers in Russia increased by 2% to 12.326 million tons (on plant-food basis) in the first half of the year.
The production of nitrogen fertilizers increased by 2.6% to 5.858 million tons, phosphorous fertilizers, by 1.7% to 2.075 million tons, potassium fertilizers, by 1.5% to 4.393 million tons.
The output of ammonia increased by 1.4% to 9.2 million tons in January through June 2019.
