Uralchem Group is expanding sales of its own-brand fertilizers in Thailand, with distribution expected to reach 18 provinces in the near future. The company announced the plan at a dealer conference held Oct. 17–18 in Nonthaburi Province, which brought together representatives of 25 major local dealerships.

The product range available in Thailand includes premium granular complex fertilizers, water-soluble fertilizers and basic products such as urea, monoammonium phosphate and granular muriate of potash. Uralchem said its branded products are already sold in several parts of the country.

Konstantin Sharipov, the group’s international distribution development director, said the company had increased shipments to Thailand in recent years and planned to deepen engagement with farmers by offering products and services directly. The company cited demand for modern agricultural technologies as Thailand reforms its agricultural sector.

It is alarming to see these developments in California. As a vineyard grower, I have faced significant challenges this year, with fertilizer costs rising sharply while market conditions have made it difficult to sell the harvest.
