Export of potassium fertilizers from Russia has collapsed by 16%
In the first six months of 2019, export of nitrogen fertilizers from Russia abroad decreased by 2.1% to 6.534 million tons. At the same time, their export measured in money grew by 7.8% to 1.389 billion dollars, as reported by the Federal Customs Service.
Sales of potassium fertilizers in January-June 2019 fell sharply by 16% to 3.912 million tons, those of mixed fertilizers – by 13% to 5.269 million tons.
In monetary terms, shipments of potassium fertilizers increased by 0.9% to 1.014 billion dollars, while those of mixed fertilizers decreased by 5.6% to 1.549 billion dollars.
