Uralchem took part in the 37-th International specialized exhibition of machines, equipment and technologies for the agricultural sector Moldagrotech 2019 (Autumn) and the 22nd fair-exhibition Farmer, which were held in Chisinau. The exhibitions received the official support from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry of the Republic of Moldova.

At the trade show, representatives of the Uralchem Trading House and the marketing department promoted an assortment of the SOLAR brand – innovative water soluble mineral fertilizers that are widely used in greenhouses, drip irrigation systems and as foliar dressing in intensive gardens. These products are rapidly gaining popularity among agricultural producers. In addition, great attention was paid to expanding the supply to the region of a line of the products, which had not been delivered before and were only registered in 2019 – NPKS 8: 20: 30: 2 and NPKS 10: 20: 20: 6. These are optimal as the main fertilizers for winter crops and as pre-sowing fertilizers for spring crops. During the three days of the exhibition, more than a hundred people visited the company’s booth, among which were both new customers who wanted to receive detailed information about the products, and existing customers who were actively interested in the new developments.

Uralchem experts noted that during the trade show, the holding’s booth was visited by several key partners working in Moldova – those were local agricultural enterprises and trader companies. Together they summed up the work in 2019 and discussed the opportunities for the development of cooperation in the next season. In addition, active joint negotiations were held with Transfer Impex to strengthen cooperation with European agricultural producer Sudzucker Moldova. These companies, suppliers of Uralchem fertilizers to the country, have their own warehouses which allows Uralchem to make work in the region faster and more efficient, reducing the end consumer delivery time.

The Moldagrotech agricultural technology exhibition is focused on the presentation of the latest developments from leading manufacturers. More than 130 large companies from different countries take part in it. The event provides a rich business program, which includes holding round-table discussions, presentations, seminars and conferences.

Europe is falling behind in this field. The concerns 30 years ago was reasonable. Now not so much. We need crops that can survive in a more extreme future climate. Handle droughts and hot weather better. Crops that are less tasty to pests like hogs and deere.
