Uralchem held a Field Day in the Kirov region
Uralchem held its third annual Field Day in the Kirov region. The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kirov, Nizhny Novgorod, Chuvashia, and the Perm regions, as well as by their largest agricultural producers. Over 200 managers and specialists visited the Field Day.
Within the framework of the event, Uralchem presented its additional services — an agro-laboratory, based on the Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Plant to analyze irrigation water, plants, and soil, and its agro-consulting services.
Particular attention was paid to the new product in the portfolio of Uralchem — MultiStart NPKS 15:15:15:11+Bio. Besides nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and sulfur useful for plants, the fertilizer contains microorganisms that stimulate the development of the root system, increase the utilization rate of nutrients from the soil and resistance to pathogens.
During the second part of the event, participants visited experimental plots of spring barley, studied the schemes for applying the company’s mineral fertilizers, and evaluated the efficiency of nutrition systems developed by Uralchem.
“Field Day is an important event of Uralchem held in the Kirov region. First of all, it’s aimed at raising the level of customer awareness, as well as demonstrating the use of fertilizer and the company’s services in real conditions. Every year we choose a new crop for experiments to study the needs of farmers. This time it was barley, the third most important agricultural product in the Volga Federal District. On August 10, the Novosibirsk Region will host our first Field Day for the farmers of the Siberian Federal District,” said Tatyana Surdina, Marketing Director of Uralchem.
