A large greenhouse complex is being created in the Kangalassi ASEZ

The Sayuri company continues the construction of the greenhouse complex at the Kangalassi Advanced Economic Zone (ASEZ), the press service of the Government of Yakutia has informed.

The construction started in 2016, and experimental greenhouses with an area of 0.1 ha and 1.2 ha, respectively, have already been put into operation. In 2020-2021, it is planned to create and open a greenhouse with an area of 2 hectares. As a result, the greenhouse complex will be able to produce 1,119 tons of cucumbers, 780.6 tons of tomatoes and 17 tons of greens.

The total amount of capital investments in the construction of the greenhouse complex in the Kangalassi ASEZ reaches nearly 1.745 billion rubles (approximately $ 25 million), of which Sayuri’s own funds are 965.5 million rubles (about $ 13.7 million), and the Far East Development Fund has allocated 300 million rubles (almost $ 4.3 million).
