EuroChem has opened a new terminal in the port of Sillamae (Estonia), capable of handling up to one million tons of ammonia per year.
It is intended for the shipment of ammonia produced by EuroChem Northwest (the ammonia plant in Kingisepp), which was opened last year. Its capacity is exactly 1 million tons per year.
EuroChem invested over $ 900 million into the Northwest construction project, and it was implemented within 42 months.
