Uralkali Board of Directors grows

Sberbank Russia Senior Vice-President Alexander Bazarov has joined the Board of Directors of Uralkali.

The decision was made at an extraordinary meeting of Uralkali shareholders. Previously, the number of members of the company’s Board of Directors had been expanded from nine individuals to ten.

All the nine members who had previously been on the Board retained their positions. They are the CEO of Rostec Corporation Sergey Chemezov, General Director of Uralkali Dmitry Osipov, the main beneficiary of Uralchem Dmitry Mazepin and his business partner, Belarussian businessman Dmitry Lobiak.

In addition, the Board includes Dimitri Tatyanin, Legal Director of Uralchem, Igor Bulantsev, Director for Economics and Finance of Uralchem, as well as Independent Directors Paul Ostling, Luke Mane and Daniel Wolfe.
