Syngenta has made a huge bond issue

Syngenta, a Swiss producer of plant protection products, has completed a Euro 500 million Eurobond issue. BNP Paribas, BofA Securities, Credit Suisse, HSBC and UniCredit acted as Joint Bookrunners for the transaction. The purposes the money raised will be spent on haven’t been not reported.

Last year, Syngenta sales totaled $ 13.582 billion, unchanged from 2018. Of these, the sale of plant protection products increased by only 1.3% to $ 10.588 billion, while seeds sales decreased by 3.9% to $ 3.083 billion.
