Navoiyazot launched the new ammonia and carbamide production

Navoiyazot plant (Uzbekistan) has launched a production complex with a capacity of 660 thousand tons of ammonia and 577.5 thousand tons of carbamide per year. The first batch of carbamide has been received.

The construction of the complex has been carried out since September 2016. The total cost of the project amounted to $985.7 million, $577 million of which was provided by Japanese banks, and $320 million were provided as a loan by the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan.

Two obsolete and energy-intensive lines of the ammonia workshop built in 1964 will be decommissioned in the framework of the new complex construction project.
