K+S Group also criticized the contract between BPC and Indian Potash

The German K+S Group issued a press-release, in which the company declared against the price of supplies of potassium fertilizers set in the contract signed between Indian Potash and Belarusian Potash Company.

“The negotiated price is well below the current level in the most important export markets,” the press-release says. “We also may observe a favorable demand for potassium fertilizers in the coming spring season. Amid the existing situation, K+S Group will now refrain from selling to the Indian market at such prices.”

Belarusian Potash Company has signed a contract with Indian Potash for the supply of 800 thousand tons of potassium fertilizers at $247 per ton to the Indian market. Nutrien, Canpotex and Uralkali have already spoken against the deal.
