Fertilizer output in Russia rose by almost 21%

According to the Federal State Statistics Service, in January this year, the production of mineral fertilizers in Russia increased by 20.6% to 2.3 million tons compared to the same month 2020.
Of their total volume, the output of nitrogen fertilizers rose by 2.7% to a million tons, phosphorus by 4.5% to 0.4 million tons, and potassium by 61.3% to 0.9 million tons.
The leading producers of mineral fertilizers in Russia are PhosAgro and Uralchem.
