Fertilizer-producing companies may lose state subsidies for moving their goods by rail. This proposal is reflected in the draft government decree prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.
The state covers part of the cost of transporting products by rail to reduce producers’ expenses and support industries. As the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia explained, such a measure is applied only if the prices for certain products for the previous six months didn’t exceed the established value. If the milestone has been exceeded, then the subsidy is redistributed to other sectors.
