A green ammonia production center may appear in the Far East

Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government to analyze the possibilities of organizing a center for the production of green ammonia and hydrogen in the Far East.

“I ask the government to analyze all aspects of creating a center for the production of green hydrogen and ammonia in the Far East, including the feasibility of such a project and the participation of our foreign partners, primarily from Japan and China,” said Vladimir Putin.

According to the statement of the Russian President, there is an opportunity in the Far East to organize a powerful industrial cluster for the production of green hydrogen and ammonia, the demand for which will grow steadily for decades, especially in the Asia-Pacific region.
