EuroChem increased its sales by 6%

In 1H2021 EuroChem increased its sales of mineral fertilizers by 6% to 9.725 million tons.

Of the total sales of agrochemicals, shipments of nitrogen fertilizers increased by 4% to 5.086 million tons, phosphorus and complex fertilizers by 2% to 3.412 million tons, and potassium fertilizers by 25% to 1.254 million tons.

“In the first half of 2021, some factors led to a decrease in the supply of fertilizers amid the record-high demand, which resulted in the highest prices in the market over the past few years. While the market is showing signs of more balanced dynamics for the rest of the year, the pricing environment is expected to remain favorable as the global recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic gathers momentum and demand for food picks up,” the press-release of EuroChem says.
