Shchekinoazot installs new ammonium processing complex
Shchekinoazot (Tula region) is installing equipment at the complex for the production of nitric acid and ammonium nitrate.
The plant is conducting the establishment of technological pipelines, which is currently completed by more than 90%. Over 80% of technological equipment has already been assembled.
Due to the dense layout of the enterprise, and therefore difficulties in access to service points of technological equipment, the company has to look for complex engineering solutions during the installation process.
Another issue arose when performing general construction operations due to the huge volume of work. After the general contractor reduced labor intensity and strengthened the team of builders, the work went on smoothly.
The capacity of the future complex should be 270 thousand tons of nitric acid and 340 thousand tons of ammonium nitrate per year.
