Prospects of Russian agribusiness discussed in Moscow

On November 17, the newspaper Vedomosti held the VI annual Agrarian Forum of Russia. Leaders of the agricultural business discussed the possibilities to increase economic efficiency in 2022 and the obstacles that agriculture currently faces.

Sustainable development of the industry depends on increasing capacity in key areas. To increase the competitiveness of the agro-industrial sector in foreign and domestic markets, it’s necessary to change the business model following current realities and to direct resources to meet new challenges. An integrated approach to the development of the agricultural sector will help to fulfill the modern demands of society, increase investment attractiveness, maintain food security in the country, create a competitive environment for domestic products and increase digital capacity to reduce the burden on business.
