Russian President held a meeting with Dmitry Mazepin
Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with Dmitry Mazepin, General Director of Uralchem and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Uralkali.
The main topic of the meeting was the discussion of the results and prospects for the development of the Russian and global mineral fertilizer industries, as well as the operating activities of Uralchem and Uralkali.
Dmitry Mazepin reported that within the past two years, Uralchem increased supplies to the Russian market by 2.5 times. At the end of 2021, almost 60% of the nitrogen fertilizers produced by the company were shipped to domestic agricultural enterprises.
“Uralchem and Uralkali, occupying leading positions in the industry, attach great importance to both the development of the regions of their presence and the implementation of the federal social projects. On behalf of the companies, I would like to express my gratitude to the President and the Government of Russia for their support and understanding of the specifics of the chemical industry, which is a key component of the development of agriculture both in Russia and abroad,” said Dmitry Mazepin.
