Russian Railways network decreased the loading of mineral fertilizers

In January this year, the loading of mineral fertilizers on the Russian Railways network decreased by 3.2% to 5.5 million tons, however, its dynamics and volumes are completely different for individual railways.

The loading of mineral fertilizers on the Moscow Railway decreased by 0.5% to 475.6 thousand tons, on the Sverdlovsk Railway by 6% to 1.5 million tons, on the North Caucasus Railway by 10.1% to 210 thousand tons, on the Kuybyshevskaya Railway by 12.5% ​​to 313.7 thousand tons, on the South Ural Railway by 15.2% to 7.1 thousand tons, on the Northern Railway by 31% to 383 thousand tons, and on the Volga Railway by 44% to 128.6 thousand tons.

At the same time, the loading of mineral fertilizers on the East Siberian Railway increased by 1.5% to 19 thousand tons, on the Gorky Railway by 2.6% to 200 thousand tons, on the Southeastern Railway by 6.8% to 148.3 thousand tons, and on the October Railway by 13.8% to 2 million tons.

“So contradictory situation with the loading of mineral fertilizers is due to the different loading of the plants producing them, the output volumes contracted by farmers and agricultural enterprises, and the quotas on their exports,” commented the information and analytical service of Fertilizer Daily.
