KuibyshevAzot sharply increased the output of ammonium sulfate

In 2021, the revenue of the KuibyshevAzot plant (the city of Togliatti, Samara region) increased by 42.8% to 82 billion rubles (almost $1.1 billion) and net profit by 6.6 times to 21.7 billion rubles (over $281 million).

Ammonia production increased by 5% to 1.101 million tons, carbamide by 7% to 263.6 thousand tons, ammonium sulfate by 9.2% to 508.4 thousand tons, carbamide-ammoniac compound by 3.2 % to 246.5 thousand tons, however, the output of ammonium nitrate declined by 2% to 601.4 thousand tons.

Last year, the company carried out a large amount of work for the construction and technical re-equipment of production facilities. In August, the output of ammonium sulfate-nitrate was launched. The complex fertilizer has improved physical and chemical properties and simultaneously supplies plants with nitrogen, sulfur and microelements, making it possible to increase the efficiency of crop production. Investments in the project amounted to 4.3 billion rubles (almost $56 million).

As of today, the construction of a new granulation and evaporation plant at the ammonium nitrate production continues.
