India Pesticides intends to launch a new plant in 2023

Next year, agrochemical company India Pesticides plans to commission a new plant to produce crop protection products. The company has already acquired a land plot of 10.1 hectares in the city of Hamirpur (the state of Himachal Pradesh) and intends to begin the construction soon.

Currently, the plant in the state of Uttar Pradesh is being modernized: in 2021, its capacity was 17.4 thousand tons of pesticides, then it was increased by 1.5 thousand tons.

“Five new plant protection products are currently under development and will be introduced on the market this year,” said Anand Swarup Agarwal, Chairman of the Board of India Pesticides.
