San Group will create a green hydrogen plant in UAE

The Austrian San Group will create a green hydrogen generating plant, a fish farm and a greenhouse complex at the Ras Al Khaimah special economic zone (United Arab Emirates). Investments in the project will amount to $3.3 million.

In the framework of the project, San Group will construct a fish farm. Its waste products will be used as organic fertilizer for growing strawberries and herbs. There will also be a research center and a water desalination plant.

They will be provided with electricity from a solar power plant, which will be used to generate green hydrogen. It will also be involved in the work of a fish farm and a greenhouse complex.

“San Group is also looking for cooperation with local scientists to jointly expand experience in the field of autonomous farming. We want to prove that our fully integrated system can feed a growing population even in regions that are not suitable for agriculture under normal climatic conditions,” said Erich Erber, Founder and President of San Group.
