PhosAgro has appointed a new CEO

PhosAgro Board of Directors has accepted the resignation of its CEO Andrey Guryev and appointed Mikhail Rybnikov to this post. Xavier Rolet has also left PhosAgro Board of Directors.

PhosAgro is one of the world’s largest producers of phosphorus fertilizers and also among the major suppliers of nitrogen fertilizers. In 2021, PhosAgro increased the production of mineral fertilizers by 3.3% to 10.3 million tons. Of their total volume, the output of phosphorus fertilizers and feed phosphates increased by 4.2% to 7.9 million tons and nitrogen fertilizers — by 0.4% to 2.4 million tons.

Mikhail Rybnikov was born in 1975, graduated from Moscow State University. In 1998-2001, Mikhail Rybnikov worked as Deputy General Director for Economics and Finance at the Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers, in 2001-2004 — as the Financial Director at Ammophos, in 2004-2006 — as the Director for Economics and Finance at Apatit. Then he held various positions at PhosAgro. Since November 2021 – Mikhail Rybnikov worked as PhosAgro Deputy CEO.
