Russia has become the largest exporter of diammonium phosphate to India in recent months. During the period from April to June of this year, 350 thousand tons of diammonium phosphate were supplied to Indian farmers.

Its main customers are Indian Potash, Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers, Chambal Fertilisers and Krishak Bharati Cooperative. The average sale price of diammonium phosphate to the Indian market is $920-925 per ton.

Besides Russia, India imports diammonium phosphate from Morocco, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Spain.

Europe is falling behind in this field. The concerns 30 years ago was reasonable. Now not so much. We need crops that can survive in a more extreme future climate. Handle droughts and hot weather better. Crops that are less tasty to pests like hogs and deere.
