Cargill featured on Fortune’s list of America’s most innovative companies

Fortune has rated Cargill as one of America’s Most Innovative Companies of 2024. It is the second consecutive year that the corporation has been featured on the list.

Cargill, which welcomed the accolade, said that it is driving industry change by working with academics, startups, customers, and suppliers to address a range of global challenges such as feeding a growing population and protecting the environment.

Cargill’s chief technology officer, Florian Schattenmann, commented that “Innovation is the foundation for a better future. We’re reimagining what is possible for food, agriculture, and beyond.

“We are thrilled to receive this recognition. When you have great talent united by a big purpose to nourish the world, it’s amazing the impact you can make along the way. This award is one reflection of the great work our teams do every day.”

Fortune’s list, which was compiled in partnership with Statista, evaluated companies on the basis of product innovation, process innovation, and innovation culture.
