Lantmännen expands with Entrack acquisition
Lantmännen has signed an agreement to acquire Entrack, a family-owned supplier of undercarriage components and ground engaging tools.
Established nearly 50 years ago, Entrack today has a turnover of 400 million Swedish Krona (almost $38 million) and approximately 70 employees, and operates in Sweden, Finland, Poland, and Italy, with sales extending to other European countries.
Magnus Kagevik, CEO and President of Lantmännen, highlighted that Entrack is a well-managed company with extensive experience in supporting a wide range of construction and agriculture equipment brands. He stated that the acquisition would broaden Lantmännen’s current offerings and contribute to their growth strategy.
Björn Nilsson, Head of Entrack Group, emphasized that Entrack’s strong product range, focused on the aftermarket, along with Lantmännen’s expertise in sustainability, creates a promising future for Entrack, its employees, and customers.
Entrack will be organized as a separate business within Lantmännen’s Business Area Swecon.
The transaction is subject to approval by relevant authorities and is expected to be completed in the fall of 2024. Until then, Lantmännen and Entrack will continue to operate as separate entities.
