Hello Nature, a global leader in sustainable agricultural solutions, has solidified its position as the largest player in the organic fertilizers market with the opening of its BIONUTRIENTS facility in Wabash, Indiana. This milestone underscores the company’s commitment to innovation and sustainability, marking a transformative step in the sector.

The new plant, a joint venture with MPS Egg Farms, represents a $50 million investment and spans 300,000 square feet. It is designed with circular economy principles to minimize environmental impact. Leveraging chicken manure sourced from MPS Egg Farms, the facility will produce 150,000 tons of organic fertilizers and other biosolutions annually. These products will cater to North American markets and incorporate proprietary blending technologies developed by Hello Nature.

This expansion enhances Hello Nature’s footprint in the United States, complementing its existing operations in Anderson, Indiana, which include a biostimulant production facility and the Nello Bonini Innovation Hub for research and development. The Wabash plant is Hello Nature’s second organic fertilizer production site, alongside its ITALPOLLINA facility near Verona, Italy.

In recent years, the ITALPOLLINA site has undergone significant upgrades to improve efficiency and product quality. These upgrades include the installation of advanced silos and the automation of processes blending chicken manure with other components. Both facilities employ Hello Nature’s exclusive SAFEDRY™ technology, preserving beneficial microbial activity to deliver nutrient-rich products that restore soil fertility and biodiversity sustainably.

Hello Nature CEO Luca Bonini emphasized the importance of these developments, citing the industry’s challenges, including rising costs, supply chain disruptions, and a growing demand for sustainable agricultural solutions. He stated that the new production facility and ongoing investments in ITALPOLLINA are pivotal for the company’s future and the broader organic fertilizer sector. “Our mission is to empower farmers globally to achieve higher yields while improving soil health. These facilities are a testament to our commitment to innovative, sustainable agriculture,” he said.

Hello Nature, formerly Italpollina, has been a pioneer in organic fertilizers since the 1970s. Operating in 80 countries, the company produces a diverse range of solutions, including 100% plant-based biostimulants, beneficial microbials, and biochelates. With six production plants and 12 commercial offices worldwide, Hello Nature remains at the forefront of sustainable agriculture, balancing productivity with environmental stewardship.
