Pivot Bio and Hefty Seed Company announced strategic distribution partnership

Pivot Bio has recently unveiled a new distribution partnership with Hefty Seed Company, a major independent agricultural retailer in the United States. From 2025, Pivot Bio’s microbial nitrogen product PROVEN 40 will be available through Hefty Seed’s extensive network, which spans 49 locations across 10 states. This new offering is set to provide corn farmers with an advanced alternative for nitrogen delivery, complementing Hefty Seed’s robust portfolio of agricultural inputs.

According to the company, PROVEN 40 is designed to supply steady, in-season nitrogen, allowing crops to efficiently meet their nutrient needs. It also promises to safeguard against nitrogen loss, a common challenge in crop farming, thereby maintaining yield potential and consistency in production.

Starting next year, Pivot Bio will also offer RETURN for sorghum, wheat, and other small grains across all Hefty Seed locations. Pivot Bio and Hefty Seed Company also announced the launch of a collaborative field support initiative that will provide personalized nitrogen management plans and field-tested recommendations.
