ICL appoints Elad Aharonson as CEO, advancing its specialty minerals strategy
ICL Group has announced Elad Aharonson as its new President and CEO, effective March 13, 2025. He will succeed Raviv Zoller, with whom he will collaborate for a smooth transition. This leadership change highlights ICL’s focus on advancing its role in specialty minerals and agricultural solutions.
Aharonson, who has led ICL’s Growing Solutions business since April 2021, played a pivotal role in developing and expanding the company’s specialty fertilizer solutions. His strategic initiatives have driven growth into new markets through both organic efforts and acquisitions, solidifying ICL’s position in specialty plant nutrition.
Before joining ICL, Aharonson spent 16 years at Elbit Systems Ltd., where he held senior roles including Executive Vice President and General Manager of the ISTAR and UAS Divisions. His leadership there fueled significant growth in domestic and global markets, establishing his reputation as a strategic innovator.
Yoav Doppelt, Executive Chairman of ICL’s Board of Directors, expressed confidence in Aharonson’s ability to lead. He emphasized Aharonson’s understanding of ICL’s operations and his talent for transforming global trends into innovative strategies. The board anticipates his leadership will enhance ICL’s specialty product offerings and drive value for customers and stakeholders.
Reflecting on his new role, Aharonson highlighted his commitment to building on ICL’s strong foundation. He aims to expand the company’s innovative product pipeline and deliver sustainable solutions.
The board also acknowledged Raviv Zoller’s significant contributions, thanking him for his leadership, which has set ICL on a path for continued success.
ICL, headquartered in Israel, operates globally with over 12,000 employees. Using its bromine, potash, and phosphate resources, the company addresses sustainability challenges in food, agriculture, and industry. In 2023, ICL reported revenues of $7.5 billion, underscoring its influence in critical sectors.
