Tecnomyl opens Paraguay’s largest bioinput factory
Paraguay’s agricultural solutions company Tecnomyl has inaugurated the country’s largest and most modern factory for bioinputs TECNOMYL Biotech. President Santiago Peña and other key figures from the agriculture industry participated in the opening ceremony. TECNOMYL Biotech aims to revolutionize the production of biological inputs in Paraguay, positioning the country as a leader in agricultural biotechnology in Latin America. The new factory is designed to supply cutting-edge biopesticides and biofertilizers, supporting local farmers with sustainable agricultural solutions.
The facility, covering 2,000 square meters, features a sophisticated research and development laboratory and is equipped with advanced bioreactors for production. The production is anticipated to meet local demand and also support exports, transforming Paraguay from an importer to a developer and exporter of agricultural technology.
The factory will produce a range of bioinputs including bionematicides, bioinsecticides, bioacaricides, biofungicides, biofertilizers, and biostimulants. These products are intended to complement traditional chemical pesticides, offering holistic solutions to the challenges of modern agriculture such as pests, diseases, and climatic adversities.
