EuroChem receives “Project of the Year” award for its Digital Industrial Platform

EuroChem has won a prestigious “Project of the Year” award from the Russian IT directors’ community Global CIO. for the implementation of the Digital Industrial Platform project, which was deployed in 1.5 years at all enterprises of the group. Digital Industrial Platform is a set of software solutions that supports the company’s production facilities. Providing a single digital environment for collecting, processing, storing, visualizing and exchanging production data, the platform accelerates the implementation of new digital products by more than two times.

Deputy Director for Digitalization at EuroChem, Valery Cherepanov, commented:

“Our Digital Industrial Platform is a key component in EuroChem’s digitalization strategy. We saw the first results of the project’s implementation a year after its launch, although such large-scale tasks usually take three to five years to provide any viable benefits. The platform allows to monitor all production processes in real time, which makes it possible to make better management decisions. In the long term, we expect the increase in efficiency of enterprises and a reduction in their energy consumption. The economic effect from implementing the Digital Industrial Platform in the future can be measured in billions of rubles.”

More than 40 digital solutions have already been implemented on the platform, including:

• equipment condition monitoring,
• planning and forecasting,
• quality control,
• key performance indicator monitoring.

The system also has recommendation algorithms that help optimize technological processes in the production of mineral fertilizers. Using the platform’s tools, EuroChem plans to digitalize workplaces, eliminating routine operations related to reporting and entering production data.
