Nouryon has unveiled Adsee Flex 960, a new adjuvant designed to enhance the effectiveness of pesticide applications. The product, introduced at the ISAA Symposium 2025 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, combines surfactants and colloidal silica to improve deposition, adhesion, and rainfastness of active ingredients, offering a potential solution for optimizing pesticide efficiency in agriculture.

Field trials conducted globally have shown that Adsee Flex 960 can improve the performance of fungicides, ensuring that pesticide droplets adhere to plant surfaces and remain intact during rainfall or adverse weather conditions. This could reduce the need for reapplication, conserving water and fuel resources in the process.

Adsee Flex 960’s microplastic-free formulation also addresses increasing environmental and regulatory pressures in agriculture, complying with major standards including TSCA, FIFRA, and EU REACH.

In addition to Adsee Flex 960, Nouryon is presenting other products at ISAA 2025, including:

      • Agrilan 1015 – A biodegradable dispersant for aqueous crop formulations.
      • Agrilan 1028 – A phosphate ester designed as a dispersant and compatibilizer in high electrolyte systems.
      • Agrilan 855 – A polymeric dispersing agent that enhances stability in suspension concentrates and suspoemulsions.

Headquartered in both Radnor, Pennsylvania, and Amsterdam, Netherlands, Nouryon operates in over 80 countries and provides chemical solutions across industries including agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and personal care. The company is known for its focus on sustainability and innovation in addressing global market needs.

It is alarming to see these developments in California. As a vineyard grower, I have faced significant challenges this year, with fertilizer costs rising sharply while market conditions have made it difficult to sell the harvest.
