Mosaic launches Neptunion biostimulant in China

The Mosaic Company has launched a new biostimulant product, Neptunion, in China as part of its strategy to grow its agricultural biosciences business in major global markets.
The product is designed to improve crop tolerance to drought, heat, and salinity—conditions increasingly affecting growers in Asia and beyond. Neptunion is applied through water-soluble fertilizers and is aimed at enhancing yields while reducing environmental impact.
“The launch of Neptunion in China is a significant step in advancing our Mosaic Biosciences business,” said Jenny Wang, Mosaic’s executive vice president of commercial operations. “We remain committed to expanding our market access and maximizing ag productivity through biological products.”
The rollout in China follows the company’s efforts to register the product in India and Brazil, two other key agricultural markets.
Mosaic, one of the world’s largest producers of phosphate and potash fertilizers, has been expanding its biosciences portfolio as part of a broader push into sustainable ag technology. The company’s Biosciences platform focuses on biological tools that improve nutrient uptake and crop performance under variable climate conditions.
