Oleg Shiryaev steps down as CEO of EuroChem

EuroChem Group has announced a leadership change with the departure of Oleg Shiryaev from his roles as CEO and board member of MCC EuroChem JSC. Andrey Vanyushin will assume responsibility for overseeing the development of the company’s business in Russia.
Shiryaev has been with EuroChem since 2019, initially working across various international operations. Since 2021, his responsibilities have increasingly focused on the company’s overseas assets, including business development efforts in Belgium, Brazil, Lithuania, and Kazakhstan.
He was appointed CEO of MCC EuroChem in 2022 and became President of the EuroChem Group in 2023. During his tenure, the company launched a modern phosphate fertilizer plant in Brazil and advanced a project to build a sulfuric acid plant and chemical complex in Kazakhstan.
Shiryaev officially stepped down from his positions on June 5, 2025. The company did not disclose the reasons for his resignation.
