AGCO to showcase new Fendt, Massey Ferguson equipment and autonomous farming technology at Farm Progress Show 2026

AGCO plans to use the 2026 Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa, to introduce new equipment and precision agriculture technologies across its Fendt, Massey Ferguson and PTx brands. The Sept. 1-3 event will include new Fendt products, Massey Ferguson planting and hay equipment, and PTx solutions aimed at improving seed placement, spraying, fleet management and autonomous harvesting.

Fendt will unveil three products spanning its tractor and planter platforms and hold its first international press conference in the U.S. on Sept. 2. The company will also highlight updates to the 500 Vario Gen4 and 800 Vario Gen5 tractor lines, as well as its IDEAL combine. Massey Ferguson will introduce its N-Series Split/Narrow Row Planters, which combine a modular design with factory-installed Precision Planting technology. The brand will also showcase a next-generation double baler and updates to the MF 5S Series tractors with Dyna-VT transmissions.

PTx will focus on technologies that can be retrofitted to mixed fleets. Precision Planting will demonstrate the ArrowTube seed-orientation system, SymphonyVision Duo camera-based spraying, DrySet Air air-seeder technology and SmokeRow sprayer systems. PTx Trimble will showcase FarmENGAGE fleet and farm management software and OutRun, an autonomous system designed for harvesting and tillage. PTx OutRun is also among the autonomous technologies featured in the Farm Progress Show’s field demonstrations.

The company said the product launches reflect its Farmer-First strategy and its broader push to combine conventional agricultural machinery with precision and autonomous technologies. AGCO Chairman, President and CEO Eric Hansotia said the decision by Fendt to hold its first international press conference in the U.S. underscores the importance of North America to the company’s growth strategy. AGCO and its brands will hold a media preview on Sept. 1 before the show opens.
