The South of Russia sees the price rise.

This year, farmers and agricultural organizations of the Stavropol Krai need to purchase 210.1 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers (in terms of 100% of nutrients). As reported by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory, they have purchased 121.7 thousand tons as of now, i.e. 72.2% of the demand.

At the same time, according to the Ministry, the ammonium nitrate price in the region grew in July by 18.4% compared to the same month last year, amounting to 14.2 thousand rubles for 1 ton.

Nitroammophoska rose in price by 4.9% to 20.8 thousand rubles, carbamide-ammonia mixture – by 6% to 11.2 thousand rubles, sulfoammophos – by 10.6% to 20.930 thousand rubles.

It is worth noting that Nevinnomyssky Azot (part of the EuroChem company) is the only plant producing nitrogen fertilizers in the Stavropol Krai.
