Garlyksky GOK has started exporting to China

The first container train to China, carrying potassium chloride produced by the Garlyksky GOK, has launched from Turkmenistan transiting through the territory of Kazakhstan.

The length of the route will be 9,688 km, of which 1,644 km across Turkmenistan, 3,450 km across Kazakhstan and 4,584 km across China. It is planned to deliver the goods to their final destination (to the port of Qingdao) in 15 days, which is 3-4 times faster compared to the sea route at a competitive transportation tariff.

The capacity of the Garlyksky GOK is 1.4 million tons of potassium chloride per year.
