Hexagon Group and Bagfas enhancing cooperation

The international trader Hexagon Group has contracted Bagfas, Turkey, to supply calcium ammonium nitrate for a period of three years.
Under its terms, Hexagon Group will annually purchase 200 thousand tons of calcium ammonium nitrate from Bagfas to sell it into the Mediterranean countries: Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, and Morocco. In addition, Hexagon Group will ship calcium ammonium nitrate to Ireland and the UK.
Hexagon Group and Bagfas had previously partnered, namely, at the end of last April they entered into an agreement to sell 140 thousand tons of calcium ammonium nitrate to Spain, Portugal, and Ireland.

Europe is falling behind in this field. The concerns 30 years ago was reasonable. Now not so much. We need crops that can survive in a more extreme future climate. Handle droughts and hot weather better. Crops that are less tasty to pests like hogs and deere.
