Itafos has appointed CEO to lead the company to growth and success
The board of directors of the Canadian company Itafos has appointed Dr. Mhamed Ibnabdeljalil as CEO. He has been a member of the company’s Board of Directors since December 2016.
“The Board of Directors is pleased to confirm Mkhamed as permanent CEO,” said Anthony Cina, interim Chairman of the Itafos’s Board of Directors. “Since becoming interim CEO, Mhamed has been integral in reshaping our strategy and business plan during a challenging economic cycle as the industry faces significant and continued downward pressure on global fertilizer prices.”
Mhamed Ibnabdelalil has served as a director on over 12 boards of mineral fertilizer companies in Europe, India, Middle East and Americas. For a long time he was the Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of OCP Group.
