Ammonia production still grows in Russia

According to the Federal State Statistics Service, for seven months of this year, the production of ammonia in Russia rose by 7.3% to 11.8 million tons.

At the same time, as follows from the official statistics, the output of ammonia in July declined by 2.8% to 1.5 million tons compared to June 2020. Nevertheless, compared to the same period last year, the production of ammonia in July increased by 1.8%.

Currently, ammonia is a raw material for the production of nitrogen fertilizers and simultaneously applied to fields in some regions of Russia.
