Production of fungicides stays strong in Russia

According to the Federal State Statistics Service, in January-July this year, the production of plant protection agents sharply increased in Russia.

As the agency reports, in the first seven months of 2020, the production of herbicides jumped by 47.4% to 62.8 thousand tons. The production of fungicides rose by 12.7% to 20.5 thousand tons.

In July, the output of herbicides increased by 16.8% (compared to the same month last year) and the output of fungicides rose by 18.6% to 2.3 thousand tons.
